Based on the award-winning BBC hit, "The Office" is a hilarious documentary-style look into the humorous and sometimes poignant foolishness that plagues the world of 9-to-5 jobs.
A fly-on-the-wall "docu-reality" parody about modern American office life, "The Office" delves into the lives of the workers at Dunder Mifflin paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Regional manager Michael Scott (Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Steve Carell) is a single, middle-aged man who is the boastful tour guide for the documentary—and the self-proclaimed "World's Greatest Boss."
Other "Office" mates include: receptionist Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer); Jim Halpert (John Krasinski), a likable sales rep with a good sense of humor; assistant to the regional manager Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson); Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak), the former temp-turned-corporate office man; and Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) as the girl who loves him. Also starring Melora Hardin, Ed Helms, David Denman, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Angela Kinsey, Paul Lieberstein, Oscar Nuñez, Phyllis Smith and Creed Bratton.
