Thai Singha: User Reviews
Thai Singha

We have been going to Thai Singha for almost three years and have seen it change hands of ownership. The service was so so before but the waiters now are downright rude and angry until it is time to collect the tip. Then they manage to crack a smile that looks just painful .
I took my parents to eat there and they requested an eating utensil. The waiter just abruptly told them "NO!" in a loud and rude voice. This happened with the same waiter a few times. Another time an item was requested he said in a very loud and nasty voice that we could not have it and made us feel like we were doing something wrong by asking. I am not sure why they let him do this to the customers and I am sure that we are not the first and last ones this will happen to because people usually don't change for just one person here and there.
The food used to be great once upon a time. It seems to have lost some of its freshness and portion size. The prices have stayed about the same. I used to come over 30 miles to eat here but now it has become a bad experience and I do not plan to go there again. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants around and I am sure I will find one that I will like for its food and service.
I wish everyone else a better experience.

I discovered Thai Singha thru a friend's recommendation. I have since introduced my entire family to this venue even though we live 40+ miles away. My younger son, a UCF student, considers this to be a special treat. I have the advantage of picking the spot and treating clients to lunch here on a regular basis. I have never had a bad experience in Thai Singha in 2+ years of frequent lunches. The service and atmosphere are worthy of a case study. In such a tight little area everyone of the clientele seems happy to be in this restaurant and obviously enjoys the food. Simply amazing.

This is by far the most underated Thai dining establishment in Central Florida. On my past 7 visits, the consistency of quality food and quality service has remained the same. The value is unsurpassed, with a presentation you would expect to pay $40 a plate for. At Thai Singha most entrees are under $15 and delightfully filling! The wine list seems to have been very carefully selected and there is a compliment for every meal! Most bottles are under $16! The attentive staff never leaves you wanting or needing and are happy and eager to make suggestions if it is your first Thai expirience. The only downfall is that due to the fabulous food and service, too many people are finding out! This makes the dining room a very popular place, so arrive early and enjoy! Thanks Thai Singha for everything!
Report This ReviewMy husband, daughter and I love this restaurant. We eat there for lunch at least once a week. We all love the Coconut Soup, yum!!
Report This ReviewWe found Thai Singha by accident one day. My husband had been stationed in Thailand many years ago, but loved the food so wanted to see what they had to offer. We were impressed with the freshness of everything -- veggies, seafood, etc. -- and the beer was pretty much as he remembered it. We reccomend the restaurant to everyone who wants something a little different.
Report This ReviewThe food is great at Thai Singha and the lunch specials are quite interesting. The only thing is, the lunch specials cannot be ordered for take-out. The curries are well prepared and are sumptuous. This place is much, much better than the previous tenant (Saigon something whatever).
