Food was terrible, service was terrible and so was the sushi. I highly recommend going somewhere else, you would be better off eating sushi from Albertsons. At least there it is somewhat fresh.
Report This ReviewI thought it was good food!-a bit of a change from traditional "Japanese" way of serving & making sushi!(for the person who wrote (AG),& complained about telling the "chef" how to make it the right way-is insulting-not only to the many "Asian-fushion" affectionados and the chef. (I'm from Hawaii and am used to ALL sorts of sushi!).'thought it was tacky-he or she didn't know any better!- maybe you're used to "Public's" sushi! It sounded like a person trying to be trendy,a wanna be "la-dee-dah!"
Report This ReviewI'm an avid fan of the downtown Amura & have twice been disappointed visiting the Lk Mary location. Neither the servers nor the sushi chefs appear knowledgable about the sushi menu. When you go to a restaurant of the same namesake you expect a certain level of consistency; both times I've visited most rolls came out wrong & we've sent them back w/ directions on how to be "correctly" made. Nice decor, but the Lk Mary Amura has a lot to learn from a downtown favorite on keeping loyal customers.
Report This ReviewThe sushi is excellent! The Mexican roll is a must try. I have visited the Lake Mary location on a Friday, for both lunch and dinner and the service was great. I would recommend to any sushi lover as well as those who haven't tried sushi before. The Lake Mary location is clean and hip, not to mention the food is very fresh. Enjoy!
Report This ReviewThe sushi is the best around. I would like to order off the menu but can't turn down the sushi!
Report This ReviewI have only eaten at the Lake Mary location, where the food is always great and the atmosphere is the best. I love the 'Super Crunch' roll and the 'Mexican' roll. Lunch specials are affordable and the service is great.
The best sushi in the area.
Report This ReviewGreat place! Delicious Food! And what's BEST is that they have Thursday Night ladies night...your first Martini is on the house and you drink complimentary champagne the rest of the evening. A MUST for me and my girlfriends when we need to celebrate a special occassion!
Report This ReviewThe fish was bad one night and it made me sick. She took my used chop sticks out of my hands and used it to get me a lemon from the bowl who she serves everyone. They are not clean !
Report This ReviewFor a Friday lunch a friend and I went to Amura downtown. When we first sat down there was a cockroach on the wall behind me, we decided to stay and continue eating. About half way through our meals, another cockroach was crawling on my plate. Needless to say we left immedeatly, however the staff seemed like they could care less about us and did not even offer to tear up our bill. Instead we insisted we would not pay and reported them to Health Services.
