The dish

For an appetizer, we settled on the Tod Man fish cakes ($5.50). These were a deep-fried mixture of breaded fish with curry paste and green beans served with a sweet and sour cucumber dipping sauce. Pass on this — the fried fish chips had nothing going for them and were soggy and wet with oil.
