PJ's Asian Cuisine
The dish
by Benjamin Duen
The garlic chicken wings appetizer ($6) was golden-fried on the outside, moist on the inside and garnished with sautéed diced onions and peppers. Served with a side of chili jam dipping sauce, this app tempted us to order an encore performance.
In the papaya salad ($5), ripe shredded papaya is tossed with julienne strips of carrots, basil, and beef jerky. Although fresh, it was lacking flavor. No worries, just maguyver it by adding lemon juice and some soy to save the day.
(Editor's Note: PJ's Asian Cuisine did not make our requested dishes. The summer and spring roll appetizer is pictured.)
