All the burgers on Hughey’s menu are $6.49 for six ounces of meat, and $7.99 for eight ounces, and always coming with a big side of fries. The BBQ bacon burger comes served with the cold lettuce and tomato on one bun with the hot burger and bacon on the other, recalling those wistful days of creative McDonald’s burger packaging. The bacon is crispy and adds a good contrasting crunch to the thick burger meat, but the barbecue is a little light.
The side of fries are your standard thick-cut french fries, and only lightly salted. There are plenty plopped on your plate and are large enough to force you to put away half that burger for later.
