The dish
The salads and wraps at Eden’s come in small and large sizes at $4.80 and $5.50, respectively, and to satiate your inner carnivore you can add one of five different varieties of Boar’s Head meats for $2. The salad and wraps are usually ready in about two minutes and they’re prepared custom in a giant mixing bowl, making sure you don’t end up with forkfuls of salad bereft of their choice ingredients.
The small Athena salad is a traditional Greek salad with spring mix lettuce, kalamata olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, snow peas, feta cheese, and served with a side of Greek vinaigrette. Eden’s suggests adding lemon pepper chicken if you want protein, which is added in the form of deli slices crumbled into the mix, bringing the price up to $6.80. The chicken kind of gets lost in the surprisingly large serving of salad, but that’s hardly a disappointment since the vinaigrette is zingy enough to pull it all together and keep each bite interesting.
