DINING: Another one bites the dust at Church Street

Brick & Fire kicked it out of Church Street a few months ago, and now, after only a couple of months in business, Rustic Steak has also closed its doors.

I can't help but feel bad for these businesses, I know they keep trying to hold on to the big hope that is 55 West, but it just seems to border on pathetic these days. Especially in this economy. Some businesses like Hamburger Mary's and Ceviche have seemed to work through a lot of the cards stacked against them but also offer niche dining experiences that help with their popularity. That said, make sure to keep frequenting them, it would be a damn shame to see those folks have to leave as well.
