This soul food eatery serves food meant to comfort the body and sate the soul. The food comes in a meat- and three-style combo with over 25 different sides to choose from and an almost equally large dessert menu. The large seating area is brightly lit and minimally decorated, and the separate take out section is where desserts sit temptingly behind a glass counter. That big hunk of devil's food cake seems to be mocking you and, of course, you're torn. But then everybody knows you gotta be tested before you can testify.
