This local landmark, recently relocated from the Parramore historic district, serves a menu that's loaded with soul food favorites. Specials come in a meat-and-three sides format, so if you're lucky you'll be able to tuck into some chops with some okra, corn and mash. It's all a matter of timing, really, because the menu changes frequently. Long popular with local politicos and NBA stars, the new digs are roomier and more gentrified but the soul-stirring food is as succulent as ever.
