And they're hungry like the wolf

By 1984, when this picture of Andy and John was taken, Duran Duran were one of the biggest rock bands in the world, having already released massive hits like "Girls on Film," "Rio," "Hungry Like the Wolf" and "Union of the Snake." Their rise to fame coincided with the emergence of MTV, and because of their good looks, many critics were quick to dismiss them as an "MTV band," a triumph of style over substance.
