All we want for Christmas is the 14,385th version of 'Frosty the Snowman'
They're the holiday songs we all know and love (or hate): "Winter Wonderland," "Silent Night," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Sleigh Ride." There are thousands of versions out there of all your old yuletide favorites; but how to decide which one to play at your next Christmas party? We put that question to the staff here at Metromix and assembled the following guide to some of our all-time favorite versions of the season's most familiar songs—and, just for fun, we decided to call out our least favorite versions, as well (plus a few others that might be of interest). Let the holiday merriment begin!—Andy Hermann, Metromix, with additional copy by Polly Higgins and David Hegle and picks by the Metromix staff
(P.S. All versions of the songs listed in this feature are available—last time we checked—on iTunes.)

The best Christmas songs I have heard this season are the acapella versions of David Archuleta at the end of his set on all Jingle Ball concerts 2008.
