MUSIC: '80s fans, what time is it?
My friend Sandra, who's an '80s music nut, is heading over to the Zora Neale Hurston Festival today to catch Morris Day & The Time at 3 p.m. There wasn't a lot of publicity for the show, so not alot of folks know about it. Although, the festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is expected to attract close to 10,000 folks today. Sandra's tip is to grab the free shuttle at the Sheraton on Lake Destiny. For you Morris Day fans I figured I would help spread the word.
