Now that all those heavy, issue-driven summer movies like "Rush Hour 3" and "Mr. Bean's Holiday" are behind us, it's time for fall to offer some lightweight comedy, right?

Um, not exactly. The year's final months always bring out the big, dramatic quests for Oscar gold, and 2007 is no different. And with work from Robert Redford, the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Paul Haggis, George Clooney and even Ben Affleck, this fall's flicks come courtesy of some of Hollywood's heaviest hitters behind the camera.

Here are the 20 films you can't miss between now and the end of the year, with a few laughs sprinkled in for good measure.
