Happy hour
So, you've just finished a long Friday afternoon meeting that seemed to last 20 years. You're packing it up for the weekend, when it dawns on you: You have no plans and an extra $600 in your pocket!
The best way to start spending money on a Friday afternoon is at a posh happy hour. Yes, we know a happy hour offers discounts, but where are you going to find a bar that doesn't do happy hour? If you're in the downtown area, head for Blue Sea Grill. After a few glasses of Conundrum (three glasses for $24), try the tempura lobster bites ($7), a dozen fresh oysters ($9) and the ever popular tuna tartar ($5). For a tip, $15 should be good.
If you're uptown, we highly suggest Hon Bar's $3 Yuengling pints. (It's not exactly "posh," but you can compensate with a high volume purchase.) Something like four beers should be a good start ($12). On your way out, don't forget to buy the entire bar a round of drinks ($36 plus $12 tip). You'll be a hero for a short while, and even closer to spending that fat wad of cash burning a hole in your pocket.
