Prepare to get a contact high as the infectious songs of The Warren Acting Company’s Reefer Madness: The Musical waft by. This hilarious new musical is based on the ’50 pulp movie “Reefer Madness,” about the perils of smoking marijuana. The preview featured a singing Jesus backed by a chorus of angels.
You’ll get plenty of eye candy at Excellent Adventure Productions’ Dysfunctional Fables (pictured at left), a new musical that turns the fairy-tale world on its head. Their preview song featured three female bakers, a half-naked gingerbread boy and a sinister sharp-dressed fox, all with some serious singing skills. If you like "Wicked," this is right up your yellow brick road.
