Universal's stock and trade with Halloween Horror Nights is keeping guests properly petrified through the course of a visit. And while waiting in line for two hours may cause a racing heart and shortness of breath, you're not really feeling what behavioral experts call "fear." So to keep the mood when you're moving from house to house, HHN makes sure you pass through Scare Zones: foggy, low-lit areas populated with disfigured ghouls and lunging madmen ready to frighten the bajeezus out of you. But did you know that the "scareactors" are simply people, just like you and me? It's true! Come, watch as a merely kinda-creepy guy like me is transformed into a complete ghoulish mess to scare unsuspecting souls.
