NIGHTLIFE: Get down with the Gators

UF alum know how to party. And they're going to prove it again this weekend by kicking off the college football season with a pub crawl in downtown Orlando.

The "Gator Get Down In O-Town" will start at Underground Orlando at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, it will then move to Latitudes from 8 - 9 p.m. Something called "Power Hours" takes place from 9:15 - 11:15 p.m. where crawlers can decide where they want to go from a choice of Finnhenry's, Brix and The Clubhouse. The night ends with a stop at Wall Street Plaza. You will receive a free drink at each location.

The Central Florida Gator Club will be hosting the event that will cost $10 for members and $15 for non-members ($20 at the door) and all proceeds will benefit the Florida Opportunity Scholarship, and other scholarships benefiting local students that attend the University of Florida. A coupon will be provided so you can get any kind of pita at Pita Pit for $5.
