EVENTS: Orlando Magic pep rally on Thursday

At noon on Thursday, Mayor Buddy Dyer will be hosting a pep rally at City Hall in downtown Orlando for the Orlando Magic. In honor of Game 1 of the finals, there will be music, Magic Dancers, giveaways and a video presentation.

Downtown Orlando businesses like Senso Supper Club, Wall Street Plaza, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A., 310 Lakeside Resturant and Jefre Studio, are using blue and white chalk to decorate their front sidewalks. The city has asked other businesses to do the same and for fans to wear blue and white or Magic gear.

And supposedly there will be a wager with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, but details won't be given until the pep rally.
