Orlando's busiest performance artist is at it again, with a new project inspired by the song "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell" by Das Racist. I have to admit, that is a pretty catchy song, although listening to the whole thing might make you go terminally insane, so be careful. The song is an eloquent social commentary on the fact that when it comes to dining, Americans want options. That is why pizzas and tacos, two entrees which would normally have nothing to do with one another, have formed a fast food alliance. You see this happening with other restaurants as well; KFC with A&W, Baskin Robbins with Dunkin' Donuts, etc. I guess it's the perfect solution for couples and families who just can't seem to decide between chicken thighs and root beer floats.

But I digress. Here is the info on Brian Feldman's "Combination Pizza Hit and Taco Bell" project:

Who: Brian Feldman Projects (The Feldman Dynamic, Brian Feldman Eats a Hamburger, Blender Bungle, Feldman’s Infamous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest, Brian Feldman Eats Everything Off The Menu At Loving Hut)

What: Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell – Hand Brian Feldman some cash or a bank card and he’ll place any Pizza Hut or Taco Bell order on your behalf, while on the phone with you. Inspired by the epic Das Racist song of the same name. Don't worry, he won't steal your food. He's a vegan.

This project is not sanctioned, endorsed or sponsored by Pizza Hut, Inc., Taco Bell Corp., Yum! Brands, Inc., The Agency Group, Himanshu Suri, Victor Vazquez or Das Racist.

PLEASE NOTE: IT IS TACO BELL POLICY NOT TO ACCEPT UNSOLICITED IDEAS OF ANY KIND.

When: Mon 7 Sep 2009 from 1am-2am (Drive-Thru) & 1pm-2pm (Dine-In)

Where: Taco Bell® #5193

Oh, I know! I can just imagine the employees of that place wondering why this skinny dude is ordering so much food!

Wow, this is totally weird even for me. There is not a character more intriguing to me at this time than Brian Feldman.

About Me

Hi! My name is Sarah Lockard and I update the calendar for Metromix, so I'm always on the lookout for cool events happening in town. I like to do a lot of theater and go see as many shows as I can, but I also try to check out a lot of arts related events in the area, like festivals, local music, art shows, etc. Oh yeah, and I'm a really big comic book/sci-fi geek. My favorite graphic novel is "Transmetropolitan" and my favorite TV show is "Lost." Alright, talk to you later.
