ARTS & CULTURE: Handbags for Hospice

The Handbags for Hospice event, happening on June 27th at 7:30 p.m., will raise funds for Hospice of the Comforter of Central Florida and the CityARTS Factory.

Snag a unique custom-made designer handbag at this benefit for the CityArts Factory. The handbags were created by 50 of Orlando's finest artists and the final bid is at 9:30 p.m., so by sure to scoop 'em up while you can! There will be a donation bar, hors d'oeuvres and live music by local bands Junkie Rush, Shak Nasti and DJ Nigel. All proceeds from admission sales go to the CityArts Factory for future programming. Admission ($10 advance/$12 door) includes a ballot for you to vote for your favorite purse and the winning artist will be awarded their very own custom hot sauce created especially for them by Poca’s Hottest. Be the envy of all your friends with a one-of-a-kind handbag that you can't get anywhere else (and support a good cause while you're at it).
