I know you
look in the mirror every day and say “hey there good looking….If only my arms
were a little bigger and my tummy a little smaller.” With only six weeks until
gay days you’re not going to be able to change your body too much. No I don’t
have a six-weeks-to-a -six-pack workout but we can cover the basics:
Carbs –
Everyone has heard of the no carb diets but for the most part you need carbs.
It’s just a matter of getting good carbs. Cut out the pasta and bread-heavy
meals but keep the fruits and vegetables. It’s about balancing your protein
with your carbs and fats. People got so carb crazy that in
Purging – I
wish it went without saying but the idea of eating and then throwing it up is bad
for oh so many reasons. Not to mention no one wants to kiss someone who just
throws up a lot.
Getting
your pump on – If your goal is to get big, this does work. It won’t, however,
make you physically fit. Yes you may be able to pick up a boy and curl him
toward your body. Okay, I can see how this might be useful, but it won’t actually
make you athletic.
Basic exercises – It won’t make you into the next James Bond but exercises like
running, situps and pushups will get you in shape. If today you started doing
them on a regular basis (and increasing the number you do), you’ll be surprised
how much better shape you are in by Gay Days.
Core
workouts – The best thing you can do is workout your core (like the exercises
above) but varying it. CrossFit.com is a free website that lists a new workout
everyday. I personally have been doing the exercises (scaled down) for about a
month and can see a huge difference.
So while we
all won’t be hot enough to be a go-go dancer we can sure try. By combining some
basic workouts with a balanced diet, we can at least get a little definition and fit in our skimpy little bathing suits.
