Garage Bar is the final of four restaurants and bars to officially open in what owners call the Route 46 Entertainment District on State Road 46 between I-4 and downtown Sanford. Garage Bar is heavy on kitschy auto parts and advertising with a canary-yellow '26 Ford on display and a DJ booth parked under a mock auto lift. Garage Bar offers a decent selection of bottled beer and hard liquor, but Garage Bar doesn't mess with anything fancy on tap. You've only got two choices there – Bud Light or Miller Lite. All food at Garage Bar is finger food, though the server does bring silverware to the table without you having to ask. Garage Bar at Route 4 is connected to an outdoor dance floor and stage, where they feature live entertainment weekly.
