Once inside the Claddagh Cottage, you might very well think you have stepped into a quaint pub in Ireland. The decor resembles a charming home with dark wood furniture and white lace curtains. The hearty menu features the Dubliner sandwich, shepherd's pie, stew and other Irish specialties along with a decent beer selection. This pub knows its beer and it shows. Guinness recognized and presented owner Jimmy Mulvaney with the "Perfect Pint" award for his double-pour technique. I guess in this case the proof is in the beer instead of the pudding.
