Sorry we have to play the indie rock, but if you listen to Erik's show he does let you know that we play the new indie stuff. Bring out more people that know the old stuff. Get there early as well. I do play quite a bit older stuff early. I'll be more that happy to play anything just so long as it fits into the mix. Just bring more people out who want the old stuff. More people are coming out that want the new stuff and that's why we added it into the mix on Sunday.

I have been going to I-Bar since it was Beach Club then Barbarella. It is great there still is a club playing 80s alternative,synth pop,new wave, industrial on a regular basis. Sunday night is not as good as it used to be, too much new indie music. It shouldn't be advertised as retro 80s when you hear the same music from Thurs. and Fri. nights mixed in. I also wish that sometimes you hear some other songs from the same artists.

Sorry you didn't like the Madonna, but have to play what the masses want to keep the night going. Just not enough old schooler's coming out.
Bring more that like the old new wave 80s and we'll be more than happy to play it. Started playing more indie rock on Sunday's. Stuff like I play on Thursday's.

I'm there every Sunday night... My only problem is that Smilin' Dan is usually a TERRIBLE DJ for Sunday Night Vinyl. I don't go there expecting to hear "Like a Virgin." Sorry.
Go to the bar up front and see Kelly. She's the best.

I live in Melbourne Florida...or Melboring....I love going to the I Bar! It rocks! Thursdays are the best night to go! The bartender makes kick ass drinks and the bouncers are very friendly. The DJ didn't play the song we requested but overall it is fun!

This place is great, I went Wednesday, and I hate going clubbing, just wandering around and found it, the atmosphere is so great you can just hang out in the booths and be relaxed, the crowd is cool and diverse, the music is unbelievable, the bartenders are quick, concise, and cool, and the dancing gets great, There was some moshing.....or it might as well have been moshing, and I got a heck of an adrenaline rush! Can't wait to go back!

This is one awesome place!!!
My 2 daughters and I went there to pre-celebrate my graduation from College and Jill-the bartender made it very memorible
Have great Pictures
and the bouncers are nice to look at as well
Definitely a great place to chill/dance to hear some interesting music
Loved it!!!!
