Knightly Scoop isn’t exactly your neighborhood watering hole, but it’s got just the right amount of grit to be cool, even if you’re way beyond your college days. The large space utilizes two rooms to counterbalance each other: one with a large bar, pool tables, and lots of flat screen TVs, and another room with a smaller bar, sparse seating, and a sizeable dance floor. There’s no smoking inside for some reason (even though you can rent hookahs and smoke fruity tobacco at the bar), but the outside space has televisions and speakers so you can still feel a part of the crowd if you take an extended smoke break. DJs are in just about every night of the week (leaving the touch-screen jukebox blissfully dark), who play a lot of Top 40ish stuff, and at a volume that doesn’t impede too much conversation.
