NIGHTLIFE: Possible open bar tomorrow night at Cheyenne Saloon

There was a bit of confusion this morning when I was emailing with a friend of mine over at the Orlando Weekly. It was concerning a press release that was sent out from Mike Hunsucker & The Carter Experience who do a dueling pianos night at Cheyenne Saloon every Friday night. The subject line stated: "Cheyenne Saloon's Last Night tonight w/Open Bar & Dueling Pianos."

If anyone else received this press release or heard about it, it's inaccurate. It's not the last night at Cheyenne (located at 128 W. Church St. in downtown Orlando), tomorrow night is and it's not open bar. If you pay $10 at the door tonight you can drink free wells and drafts all night. Which is still a nice deal, but not open bar. Tomorrow night is the night the bar will close the public, after that it will be available for private functions (and this place is so pretty, they'll definitely have their fair share of weddings and business parties I'm sure).

For closing night, the cover will be $5 and you will receive a wristband for, again, free wells and drafts. But there is a possibility they may have a second cover, that is a bit higher, for a possible open bar. That hasn't been decided yet. I'll call tomorrow and find out if they have made a decision and will post an update. I'll also be out there tomorrow night talking to folks, so if you see me say hi!
