NIGHTLIFE: Cheyenne Saloon closes on Saturday to public

After trying different nights, drink specials, anything to get people into its doors, owner Bob Snow is calling it on Cheyenne Saloon's rebirth and closing its doors on Saturday. I was supposed to go out there to review a new dueling piano night this weekend but I'm thinking that won't be happening. I'm not a big fan of country but the club didn't really go all out country the times I had stopped by which may have hurt it along with a bad economy and Church Street construction. In fact, folks I've talked to that are into country music were hoping the club would embrace country on a more regular basis because they said they would have gone to the saloon more.
