ARTS & DRINKIN': Graffiti bus and beer!
Ah the old debate: graffiti, is it art or vandalism?
Fortunately you needn't worry your pretty little head with that conundrum if you go to the Graffiti Bus Jam at Orlando Brewing tomorrow, Saturday, June 6. See, Orlando Brewing has taken their hulking big red bus and offered it to the gods (of spray paint) as part of a cultural event (and a cheap way to make the bus look just a shade better).
Beginning at noon, for $7 (which includes a complimentary beer from the tap room, so already it's only $3 to get in) you get to watch TWA CREW (Decoy, Staz, Noskillz312) & TCP Crew (This, Cynic, Sone) tag the living hell out of a bus while The Union of Sacred Monsters (a whole bunch of DJs and MCs from Savannah) fill the air with sounds of hip-hop.
Honestly, you should be awake by noon, so why not head out and start the day off right with a tasty Blackwater Porter and the scent of spray paint stinging your nose? You really don't want to mow the lawn instead, do you?
